Job Description

The Application Analyst supports deployment and maintenance of software applications in line with the strategy and objectives of the PMO (Program Management Office). She / He ensures the integral processes and applications are aligned with the Philips IT landscape. Key areas of responsibility are:

The Resource allocation process and support in administration, including guidance of the department managers and project managers to ensure optimal allocation of personnel to the projects.

Key user of Software Applications e.g. Planisware / Clarity / (PMSG) QlikView / SAP PS / Ariba.

Monitor and control the use of these applications,  actively take corrective actions if applicable.

Maintain the standard processes related to these applications, solve issues, execute and validate new installations and configurations.

Guide and deploy customization of processes and applications.

Provide training to the application users.Support projects with the creation of purchase requisitions in Ariba.

Perform financial checks required for project management (based on data in SAP, stakeholder inputs and other applications.)

Develop metrics and perform analyzes to monitor process compliance. Inform the organization about progress and improvement opportunities.

Gather information and (best) practices. Develop training material, guidance and support.

Develop capabilities, knowledge and expertise of the team by coaching and training the employees.

Cooperate with relevant stakeholders across the IGT organization and the central Philips team.

Good communication skills (written / verbal) in English.

Accurate, organized, structured.

Process minded; ability to translate information in work instructions (process steps)

Ability to train users in an effective way in using the applications.

Extensive knowledge of Excel to process data in a structured/maintainable way.

Ability to analyze data and define conclusions aligned with intended audience.
