THE COMPANY

The successful Lead Data Engineer will work for a Global Fashion eCommerce Platform, with the HQ in Amsterdam. You will be working closely with the head of the department as you will together roadmap the future of your team. The role will be 90% remote, and only applicants that are currently living in the Netherlands will be considered.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Lead Data Engineer your roles will be a combination of strategy, management and technical work. You will build big data ETL pipelines, roadmap the long-term plans manage your team

You can expect the following in this role:

• Manage a team of 6 data engineers
• Work hands-on with Python, Spark, AWS and Looker
• Define future roadmaps
• Build big data ETL pipelines
• Dashboarding in Looker

YOUR EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

The successful Lead Data Engineer will have:

• 7+ years of data experience
• 3+ years leading experience
• Commercial experience with Python and at least one other programming language
• Experience with AWS
• Been working for multiple years with ETL pipelines

THE BENEFITS

For this role you can expect a salary between €80,000 and €100,000 per annum, 13^th month and vacation allowance included.
