For their office in Utrecht, we are looking for a Linux & Network Administrator.

As Linux & Network Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing operations at a European Data Center, manage incidents, maintain NOC equipment, and contribute to key infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain NOC solution.

• Provide operational support to the European Data Center.

• Incident management of servers and NOC equipment.

• Participate in ad hoc projects and scheduling.

• Collaborate with the Data Center Manager and global team.

Requirements:

• Proficient in using packet analysis and monitoring tools for network troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) setting.

• Strong knowledge of key networking technologies, including firewalls, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM).

• Deep understanding of IP networking concepts, with expertise in Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing.

• Familiar with various network operating systems, such as FortiOS, HPE/Aruba, Arista EOS, and Junos.

• Practical experience with internet routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP.
