Multimedia Support (ESA)

We are looking for a Multimedia Support professional to support the Technology, Engineering and Quality Directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their location in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The purpose of this Support Service is to support the TEC Directorate, home to the ESA Education Programme, which has the objective to use space as a theme to enhance the literacy of young people in science and technology and to motivate young Europeans to pursue STEM studies and careers related to space in particular. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by Octagon Professionals.

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Act as the point of contact for video making and photography during special events for TEC and ESTEC;
• Plan, organise and perform filming, photographing and related postproduction, of events and highlights under TEC and ESTEC responsibility;
• Ensure GDPR compliance for all video and photography activities under this SoW;
• Archive and distribute video and photo content to point of contact designated by ESA;
• Design the TEC and ESTEC presentations in alignment with the ESA corporate and TEC identity/branding;
• Deliver graphic design, including info graphics, layout and illustrations for different multimedia;
• Collaborate with the Corporate Communication Office as applicable.

Job requirements

• Degree level education in a relevant field;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience;
• Highly proficient with office automation tools, in particular Microsoft Office suite and electronic mailing;
• Very good interpersonal skills and customer oriented approach;
• Interest in ESA and TEC Programs and related activities;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
